Senior Stockroom Assistant
About this position
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stockroom, including receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise
• Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels and identifying any discrepancies
• Organise and optimise the layout of the stockroom to maximise space and efficiency
• Assist in the preparation and packing of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Collaborate with the sales team to forecast and replenish stock as needed
• Ensure the stockroom is kept clean, well-organised, and compliant with health and safety regulation
Requirements
• Minimum 0-3 years of experience in a similar stockroom or retail operations role
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records
• Proficient in using inventory management and stock control software
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
• A team player with strong communication skill
• Ability to work according to the store's schedule and hours
