The Warehousing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's warehousing operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and team supervision. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a keen eye for optimizing warehouse efficiency to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities of Warehousing Manager
1. Develop and implement warehousing policies and procedures.
2. Monitor, manage and ensure efficient and cost effective utilization of warehouse space and resources.
3. Maintains accurate records of all warehouse activity and inventory levels.
4. Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery of orders.
5. Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
6. Monitor and manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
7. Develop and maintain vendor relationships for the purpose of ordering, shipping, and receiving.
8. Review and analyze inventory reports and adjust inventory levels as needed.
9. Supervise and lead warehouse personnel and ensure efficient completion of tasks.
10. Manage and maintain warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance and upkeep.
