What does a Test Lead do?

The Test Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the testing activities within the company. The Test Lead will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities of Test Lead

• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to define testing objectives and requirements.

• Monitor and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement preventive measures to improve overall product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the software development lifecycle.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, including metrics and key performance indicators.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
