What does a Teacher Assistant do?

The Teacher Assistant position is responsible for providing support to the lead teacher in delivering high-quality education to students. Responsibilities of Teacher Assistant

• Assist in the preparation and administration of tests, quizzes, and other assessments.
• Support students in their social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution.
• Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions.
• Provide assistance to students with personal care needs, such as toileting, feeding, and dressing.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational practices.
