What does a Talent Acquisition Associate do?

The Talent Acquisition Associate will play a vital role in the recruitment and hiring process of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to identify and source high quality and diverse talent. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external recruiters, staffing agencies, and other talent resources. The Talent Acquisition Associate will also craft and execute recruitment strategies, ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and develop and manage recruitment metrics.

Responsibilities of Talent Acquisition Associate

1. Source, recruit and screen qualified applicants for open positions
2. Utilize online recruitment resources, job postings and social media for recruiting efforts
3. Develop relationships with universities and other academic institutions to build a talent pipeline
4. Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in applicant tracking system
5. Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain talented individuals
6. Collaborate with hiring managers on job descriptions and candidate qualifications
7. Conduct interviews and coordinate follow-up activities with candidates
8. Manage onboarding and orientation process for new hires
9. Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and reference checks
10. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and trends
