What does a Supply Planner do?

Responsibilities of Supply Planner

1. Monitor raw material availability and communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
2. Develop and maintain production plans, forecasts, and inventory levels in order to ensure an effective and efficient supply chain.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting.
4. Analyze inventory levels and adjust production plans accordingly.
5. Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels.
6. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics.
7. Review and update supply chain models and processes to ensure cost-efficiency.
8. Generate reports to track inventory levels and identify potential supply shortages.
9. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
10. Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues.
