Responsibilities of Structural Engineer

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop cost-effective and innovative structural solutions.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations to determine load capacities and stability of structures.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct structural inspections during construction to ensure adherence to design plans and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation, including structural analysis reports and construction progress reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters in the structural engineering team.
