What does a Strategic Sourcing Manager do?
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the organization obtains the most cost-effective solutions for goods and services. This individual will identify and negotiate favorable terms with potential suppliers and ensure that the organization obtains the best quality goods and services at the lowest cost. They will work closely with stakeholders and utilize their expertise to develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and mitigating risk, developing and implementing sourcing strategies, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
