What does a Stock Manager do?

We are looking for a Stock Manager to join our team and oversee the inventory control of our products. The Stock Manager will be responsible for managing the flow of products and materials in our warehouse and monitoring stock levels to ensure we are always fully stocked. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will also be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and be able to work independently. Responsibilities of Stock Manager

1. Oversee and manage all incoming and outgoing stock in the warehouse.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to stock management.
3. Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy.
4. Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
5. Oversee the maintenance and organization of the stockroom.
6. Train and supervise stockroom personnel.
7. Generate and analyze inventory reports.
8. Monitor stock levels for re-stocking purposes.
9. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
10. Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
