What does a Senior Manager Quality Control do?
The Senior Manager Quality Control is responsible for leading the Quality Control team to ensure that all products meet the highest standard of quality. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring quality control processes, as well as training, coaching and managing the Quality Control team. The Senior Manager Quality Control will also provide guidance and support to the manufacturing, engineering and product development teams in order to ensure that the highest standards of quality are met. This position requires a strategic approach to problem-solving, an in-depth knowledge of quality control processes and techniques, and strong leadership and management skills.
Responsibilities of Senior Manager Quality Control
1. Oversee the development and implementation of quality control programs and procedures.
2. Monitor performance of quality control activities and review and assess results.
3. Develop and implement quality control standards and guidelines.
4. Liaise with other departments to ensure quality control standards are met.
5. Investigate and analyze customer complaints and develop corrective action plans.
6. Train and mentor subordinate quality control staff.
7. Create and monitor quality control metrics.
8. Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable quality control regulations.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
