What does a Senior HRIS Manager do?
The Senior Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager is responsible for the accurate, efficient and secure management of the company's HRIS systems. This includes managing large data sets, maintaining HRIS accuracy and integrating new systems and updates. The Senior HRIS Manager will also be responsible for providing technical support for HR initiatives and for troubleshooting complex data issues. The successful candidate should have a strong technical background and experience working with large data sets and databases. Responsibilities of Senior HRIS Manager
1. Design, develop, and maintain the HRIS system including data entry, queries, and report writing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
2. Collaborate with IT staff to develop and maintain automated processes that optimize the use of HRIS.
3. Establish and maintain procedures to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
4. Develop, maintain, and update HRIS databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of employee records.
5. Generate various reports from the HRIS system.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to HRIS.
7. Provide technical support to HR staff and other end users of the HRIS system.
8. Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement.
9. Maintain confidentiality of employee records and data.
10. Participate in HRIS system upgrades and implementations.
