What does a Property Manager do?

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the company's properties. This includes handling tenant relations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The Property Manager reports directly to the Director of Real Estate.

Responsibilities of Property Manager

• Oversee the daily operations and management of assigned properties
• Develop and implement property management plans and strategies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities
• Manage tenant relations, including addressing complaints and resolving disputes
• Collect and process rent payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and present reports on property performance and financials to senior management
• Market and advertise vacant properties to attract and screen potential tenants
• Negotiate and execute lease agreements and renewals with tenants
