What does a Manager Accounting do?

Responsibilities of Manager Accounting
1. Develop, implement and monitor accounting policies and procedures
2. Supervise and review the work of accounting staff
3. Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts and reports
4. Analyze financial data, trends and variances
5. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
6. Ensure accuracy and compliance with all internal controls, laws and regulations
7. Monitor cash flow and working capital
8. Oversee payroll and benefits administration
9. Review and negotiate vendor contracts
10. Liaise with auditors and other external parties
