What does a Legal Administrator do?
The Legal Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the legal department, managing legal documents and records, and assisting with legal research and drafting. This position reports directly to the General Counsel and works closely with the legal team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements. The Legal Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department at Master.
Responsibilities of Legal Administrator
• Managing and maintaining legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
• Assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and licenses.
• Conducting legal research and providing support to the legal team in analyzing and interpreting laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings, hearings, and court appearances for the legal team.
• Assisting in the preparation of legal briefs, memos, and other legal documents for internal and external use.
• Maintaining and updating legal databases and filing systems to ensure efficient organization and retrieval of information.
• Assisting in the management of litigation matters, including drafting and filing legal documents, coordinating with external counsel, and maintaining case files.
• Managing and tracking legal expenses, including processing invoices and maintaining budget records.
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of legal compliance reports and filings.
• Providing administrative support to the legal team, including managing calendars, arranging travel, and handling correspondence.
