What does a Learning and Development Lead do?
We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Lead to join our team and take our training and development initiatives to the next level. The Learning and Development Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating employee training plans and programs across the organization. This role requires an individual who has the ability to identify areas of need and develop training programs that address those needs. The Learning and Development Lead will be a key member of the Human Resources team and will be expected to collaborate with other departments to ensure the best possible outcomes for employees and the company. Responsibilities of Learning and Development Lead
1. Develop and implement effective learning and development initiatives across the organization
2. Design, develop, and deliver training programs that align with the organization’s goals
3. Lead the learning and development team to ensure effective delivery of learning initiatives
4. Monitor, review, and report on the effectiveness of training programs
5. Research, recommend, and implement innovative and effective approaches to learning and development
6. Manage the development and maintenance of the learning and development budget
7. Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure successful delivery of training programs
8. Oversee the development and implementation of e-learning systems
9. Facilitate the development and delivery of instructor-led and virtual training programs
10. Monitor and track employee performance and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
