What does a IT Support Specialist do?
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This position will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities of IT Support Specialist
• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved.
• Provide technical training and guidance to users.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Configure, install, and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
• Develop and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
