What does a HR Information Analyst do?
The HR Information Analyst role is responsible for providing data-driven insights to help manage and optimize the Human Resources department. The successful candidate should have strong analytical skills and an understanding of Human Resources functions. The HR Information Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data related to Human Resources processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and employee engagement. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining databases and systems to track and report on Human Resources data. The ideal candidate should have experience with data analysis and visualization tools, as well as excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities of HR Information Analyst
1. Develop and maintain HR information databases and systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
2. Generate reports, dashboards and ad-hoc queries to analyze and present data to support decision making.
3. Participate in HR system upgrades and implementations, as well as user acceptance testing.
4. Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Ensure HR data is kept up to date and accurate in all applicable systems.
6. Monitor and assess HR system performance, making recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
7. Create and maintain documentation on HR information systems and processes.
8. Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding any HR information queries.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to HR teams and other stakeholders.
10. Analyze trends in HR data and provide insights to support strategic HR initiatives.
