What does a Housekeeper do?

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the company's facilities. This includes cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring a safe and inviting environment for employees and visitors. The Housekeeper will report to the Facilities Manager and work closely with the maintenance team to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities of Housekeeper

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring they are tidy, organized, and presentable.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, carpets, furniture, and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other guest amenities as required, ensuring they are fresh and well-stocked.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste materials in a sanitary manner.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, tissues, and cleaning products in guest rooms and public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
