What does a Head Of Business Development do?
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head of Business Development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our business by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategies and plans, and managing a team of professionals. You will be a key member of the executive team, providing leadership and direction in all aspects of business development, from market analysis and product development through to sales, marketing, and customer service. You will be expected to develop relationships with potential customers and partners, as well as other stakeholders, to facilitate the growth of our business.
Responsibilities of Head Of Business Development
1. Develop, implement and manage business development plans and strategies to achieve the company’s objectives
2. Lead business development efforts to identify and pursue new opportunities
3. Research, analyze and evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
5. Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closing
6. Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets
7. Develop and manage sales and marketing programs
