What does a Financial Planning Analyst do?

The Financial Planning Analyst is a critical role in the organization, responsible for providing financial analysis and advice to support the development of strategies and decisions. The Analyst will lead the preparation of detailed financial plans, analyze financial performance and identify trends, and recommend changes to improve financial performance. The Analyst will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models and reports, and preparing presentations and reports to senior management. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable working with large amounts of data, and be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities of Financial Planning Analyst

1. Analyze financial data to provide strategic financial planning advice to clients.
