What does a Financial Analyst do?

We are searching for a motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support for various projects and initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, preparing financial forecasts, creating budgets and maintaining financial records. Additionally, you will identify cost saving opportunities, analyze variances and recommend corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities of Financial Analyst

1. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting and reporting purposes
2. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports
3. Monitor and review monthly financial performance
4. Identify and analyze financial trends
5. Develop and maintain financial databases
6. Prepare financial presentations for senior management
7. Monitor and analyze spending and expense trends
8. Assist with annual budgeting and long-term planning
9. Analyze financial data of potential investments and advise on best course of action
10. Manage audits and tax compliance
