The Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for creating a system of internal controls, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the Financial Accounting Manager will be involved in budgeting and forecasting activities. Responsibilities of Financial Accounting Manager
1. Manage the financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting processes.
3. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements.
4. Analyze financial statements and report on key performance indicators.
5. Develop tactical plans to improve financial performance.
6. Prepare and review financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making.
7. Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
8. Monitor cash flow and liquidity and recommend solutions to optimize cash management.
9. Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other financial advisors.
