What does a Finance Director do?

Responsibilities of Finance Director
1. Develop, implement and monitor financial policies, procedures and controls
2. Prepare and present financial reports to executive management and the Board of Directors
3. Oversee budget preparation and management
4. Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to inform decision-making
5. Manage cash flow and investment strategies
6. Develop and implement risk management strategies
7. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
9. Monitor and analyze industry trends
10. Identify and pursue potential new revenue-generating opportunities
