Responsibilities of Estimator Manager

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on analysis of blueprints, specifications and other documentation.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
3. Prepare, review and analyze construction documents.
4. Gather, analyze, and report data related to project costs and schedules.
5. Coordinate with project team to ensure accuracy of estimates.
6. Manage the bid process and evaluate competitive proposals.
7. Monitor project progress and develop alternate cost estimates accordingly.
8. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
9. Develop and manage change orders and cost-control procedures.
10. Maintain a database of bid documents and cost records.
