Responsibilities of Estimating & Proposal Manager
1. Develop and manage cost estimates for construction projects.
2. Lead the proposal process, including the preparation of bids and proposals.
3. Review requests for proposal (RFPs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Analyze customer requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness of cost estimates.
5. Develop and maintain a database of historical cost data.
6. Monitor and report on project costs, including forecasting and budgeting.
7. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
8. Coordinate with project managers to ensure accuracy of cost estimates and proposals.
9. Prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
10. Liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the estimating and proposal process.
