What does a Engineering Staff do?
The Engineering Staff is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. They will work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities of Engineering Staff
• Designing and developing new products or improving existing ones.
• Conducting research and analysis to identify innovative solutions and technologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and requirements are met.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
• Testing and evaluating prototypes to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during product development and production.
• Participating in design reviews and providing feedback to enhance product functionality and manufacturability.
• Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate components and materials.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to incorporate into product designs.
• Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior engineering staff members.
