What does a Demand Planning Supervisor do?

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Demand Planning Supervisor to join our Supply Chain Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to ensure accurate and timely forecast and demand planning that meets the company's needs and objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain analytics and demonstrate a commitment to excellence. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Demand Planning Supervisor will lead a team of demand planners and have overall responsibility for tracking and forecasting customer demand

Responsibilities of Demand Planning Supervisor

1. Develop and manage demand planning processes to ensure accurate forecast and inventory levels.
2. Analyze customer demand trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
3. Monitor customer order patterns and identify potential issues that could impact accuracy of demand planning.
4. Generate demand forecasts and collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure accuracy of forecast.
5. Develop and manage demand planning reports to ensure timely and accurate information is available.
6. Maintain and update demand planning systems with relevant customer information.
7. Monitor and review customer service levels and identify areas of improvement.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
9. Analyze supply chain data and identify potential areas of improvement.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of demand planning.
