Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this role involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring network activity, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. The Cybersecurity Officer will also lead incident response efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities of Cybersecurity Officer

• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the company's information systems and data.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls and measures.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively mitigate risks.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and reporting findings.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices.
• Manage and maintain security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during security incidents.
