The Commodity Research Specialist is responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on various commodities to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the company. The Commodity Research Specialist will report directly to the Head of Research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and optimize commodity trading strategies.

Responsibilities of Commodity Research Specialist

• Conduct research and analysis on various commodities, including but not limited to metals, energy, agriculture, and currencies.
• Monitor market trends and developments in the commodity industry to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to provide insights and support in making informed investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, analysts, and other relevant stakeholders to gather information and stay updated on market dynamics.
• Utilize data analysis tools and software to analyze historical and real-time market data, identify patterns, and forecast future price movements.
• Stay updated on global economic and geopolitical events that may impact commodity markets and provide timely analysis and recommendations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of trading strategies and risk management techniques.
• Participate in meetings and conferences to present research findings and represent the company's expertise in commodity markets.
• Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through self-study, attending industry conferences
