What does a Commis Chef do?
The Commis Chef is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in accordance with the company's recipes and standards. Responsibilities of Commis Chef

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
• Assisting in the receiving and storage of food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and stock control.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of menu items, including portion control and garnishing.
• Following all health and safety regulations and guidelines in the kitchen.
• Assisting in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Assisting in the preparation of mise en place and ensuring all ingredients are readily available.
