What does a Application Engineer (Industrial) do?
The Application Engineer (Industrial) at Master is responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the development and implementation of industrial applications for the company's products. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role involves collaborating with customers to understand their needs, designing solutions, and overseeing the installation and testing of applications to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities of Application Engineer (Industrial)
• Responsible for application engineering from customer specifications in new equipment and aftermarkets
• Escalate process risk matters to Sales team/Management for decisions
• Complete equipment selection calculations and define SOW for proposals
• Prepare technical content for tenders & quotations
• Ensure designs meet client specifications for optimal product solutions
• Support Sales team with technical aspects from enquiry to contract award
• Gather input from External Application Managers, Operations, Production Manager, and Engineering
• Review drawings, process flow diagrams, and equipment data sheets for Sales Engineer
• Provide technical support to procurement and vendors
• Travel to sites for tender submissions and project support.
