Responsibilities of Accounting Controller Manager
1. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, processes and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
3. Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and costing.
4. Provide technical accounting advice and guidance to the business on various financial reporting matters.
5. Develop and maintain strong relations with internal and external audit teams.
6. Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies to improve cash management.
7. Assist in the preparation of the annual budgeting process.
8. Monitor financial performance of the organization and advise management on ways to maximize profits.
9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
10. Oversee the maintenance of accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with relevant tax and legal regulations.
